It wasn't pretty and the way it was handled wasn't fair to him. But I hope that Willie Randolph can finally rest easy, now that the circus has finally been put to bed.Willie, wherever you are, you handled this like a pro. Thanks for the thrills of '06. You and your team couldn't build on it, and that's why we're at this point now, and that's a damn shame.
What the fallout from this will be, I don't know. The upper management of this organization has a lot of questions to answer right now.
